Quartermaine Diaries - Set of 25 Books. Written by Keith Quartermaine.

Between 1952 and 1975 Keith Quartermaine compiled extended detailed and illustrated reports and maps of the travels of his team of Kalgoorlie School of Mines friends and local bushmen. The first organised exploration of the Nullarbor caves; out to the edge of the desert; and along the little travelled areas of the south coast. The later diaries are records of their hunt for meteorites mainly in the eastern goldfields area. The reports and photographs record the areas before the disturbances of modern mining. The local people and station life are well recorded. Twenty sets only of the 25 reports have been printed. They range from 25 to 152 pages. Perhaps, if there is interest and pre-orders, consideration will be given to sales of individual items.
